Moldover Kontrol F1 Demo + Free Album Download

In this video Moldover also known as the Godfather of Controllerism shows of  his skiklls, demonstrating the new Traktor Kontrol F1. This new  controller looks to be a really incredible and serious piece of kit and would make a great addition to any digital DJ’s setup.

Whilst where on the subject of Moldover, it would be rude for me not to mention the free giving away of his latest album, yes you heard me right it’s absolutely FREE. The album features some top notch tracks such as Young One

As you can see from the video Moldover is also a really talented guitarist, and by combining this with his controllerism he is creating some unique and great sounding pieces of work, you can grab yourself a copy of the album here moldover.bandcamp.com.

David Guetta Titanium Acoustic Cover

So we all know a lot of dance music is based on covers, remixes and mash ups.

But what you don’t usually see is dance music being covered in a way that would make you think it was never originally a dance track. I found this really awesome acoustic version of Titanium on youtube, its by a chap called Craig Mcloughon and is well worth a listen.

What do you think do you like this version ? Do you know of any other dance covers ?, Please share your comments and opinions below.

Numark NS6 Review

Numark are seriously heading up the midi revolution with what looks to be an incredible controller. Can deffeintly forsee some major awards for this intuative piece of kit. The NS6 Digital controller has four channels, four decks an inbuilt mixer and effects unit. The NS6 looks to be a true professorial, versatile all in one unit, allowing you to mix flawlesy, and creatively on your computer.

Numark have collobrated with Serato on the NS6 and the unit, tightly intergrates with Serato Itch. The NS6 also uses the same technology as the NS7 giving you cutting edge control, and in Numarks own words ” the platters are the most responsive, highest-resolution touch-activated platters ever produced in a DJ product. ” What more could a controlerist want.

Check this mean machine out in action.

How To Beatgrid In Traktor

I found this video on youtube on how to beatgrid in traktor, and to be honest its the most simplest and easiest to follow tutourial I have ever seen on the matter.

It seems the video creator is a fellow scouser and he has some excellent videos of Liverpool nightlife on his youtube channel - stabbingsally such as a wicked collaboration of Trilogy Project with X factors Rebecca Ferguson ( Dance Upon The Ceiling) If your into pumping house then this is well worth a listen.

Anywho onto the vid:-

Cue In Traktor | How To Set Cues And Loops In Traktor

Setting Cues in Traktor and Loops in Traktor is a lot of fun and can be used to re-edit tracks at the simple touch of a few buttons. In this video I show just how easy it is to set a cue and loop.

One thing I did not point out in this video which may help, is that once you have set a loop and your loop is playing, if you then wish to exit the loop and have the track continue to play just press the loop out button again.

Hope this helps but if you have any questions please leave a comment or email admin@djtechmag.com

Traktor Keyboard Shortcuts | How To Map Keyboard Shortcuts In Traktor.

This is a simple tutorial of how to assign Traktor Keyboard Shortcuts. This can be useful for a couple of reasons whether you just need more keys for your set up or if you haven’t yet got a midi controller, assigning hotkeys can be a lot more easier than having to use a mouse.
